Administrative Support Volunteers

Administrative Volunteers will provide office assistance as needed to the staff of the Consort. Volunteer tasks vary depending on the needs of each season, but generally include preparing letters and documents for mailing, organizing office materials, and other general administrative tasks.

The Consort is accepting Administrative Volunteers on a rolling basis. Interested applicants should note their availability on the Volunteer Intake Form or inquire with the Patron Services Manager, Monica Harwood, at PatronServices@bachconsort.org.




Volunteer Usher

The Volunteer Usher will work closely with patrons and direct them to their seats at Washington Bach Consort performances. The volunteer will admit attendees courteously and provide quick direction to their seats.

The Consort is currently recruiting ushers for all performances during the 2019-2020 season. Interested applicants should review the performance schedule and note their availability on the Volunteer Intake Form.

Reports to:

Patron Services Manager and Volunteer Coordinator

Commitment:

  • Arrive 2 hours before concert for orientation, stay until concert begins
  • Volunteers need to be familiar with the concert details to answer questions in regards to specific event locations, times, etc.

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Attend volunteer training session
  • Polite and efficient customer service skills
  • Able to keep calm under pressure
